Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Phailbot Click Tracker ("the Extension"), a Twitch Extension. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

The Extension provides a transparent click-tracking overlay on Twitch streams. Viewers can click on the overlay, and those click events are relayed in real time to the broadcaster's connected tools (such as Streamer.bot) via a WebSocket backend service.

2. Eligibility

You must have a valid Twitch account and comply with the Twitch Terms of Service to use the Extension. Use of the Extension is subject to Twitch's platform rules and policies.

3. Identity Sharing

The Extension requests that viewers share their Twitch identity. This is required for click events to be transmitted. You may revoke identity sharing at any time through your Twitch Extension permissions. Without identity sharing, clicks will not be sent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Extension to harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Extension's backend service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Extension, except as permitted by applicable law.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to generate fraudulent or excessive click events.
• Use the Extension in violation of Twitch's Terms of Service or Developer Agreement.

5. Broadcaster Responsibilities

Broadcasters who install the Extension are responsible for how they use the click data received through their subscriber connections. Broadcasters must comply with all applicable laws and Twitch policies when processing click event data. Broadcasters may have their own terms of service and privacy policies governing their use of this data, and viewers should consult those where available.

6. Availability and Support

The Extension is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Extension, including its code, design, and documentation, are owned by the Extension developer. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or branding.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE EXTENSION DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE EXTENSION.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
